Nepenthes ventricosa X (ventricosa X Tiveyi) is a complex hybrid from Exotica Plants. I think they call this a backcross by taking the first cross and then crossing it back on to one of the parent plants. I grow this plant as a highlander outdoors and it is doing fine. When it first arrived, it stressed out due to my lower humidity growing conditions. Pitchers dried up and died until the plant adjusted to being outside. It is beginning to put out pitchers and is on the way. I got this plant by accident as only one was available at the time from Exotica. I don't know if this was a previously offered hybrid or one that hasn't been released yet. I grow other hybrids using N. X Tiveyi that do well for me outdoors so this plant should be no exception.
