Nepenthes ventricosa X angasanensis is an Exotica Plants hybrid between a two highlanders. What is most striking about this hybrid is the deep reddish purple color in the pitchers. When this hybrid first became available, I wasn't too interested in it as there are so many N. ventricosa hybrids out there. But then photos starting appearing in the forums and that changed my mind. This really is a nice hybrid and an easy grower. It readily produces offshoots and vines making potential cuttings more available. With the N. ventricosa parentage in it, this hybrid should grow easily as an intermediate as well.
