Nepenthes truncata X mira is an Exotica Plants hybrid between a lowlander and a highlander. This hybrid produces large leaves similar to N. truncata. Even when small, the leaves are very broad. My large plant is now vining and producing large pitchers. Some of the hybrids using N. mira tend to produce larger than normal pitchers, and combined with N. truncata, well, you get a large Nepenthes. I grow this plant in highland conditions although it should be at home in intermediate conditions since the mother plant is N. truncata which leans to the warm side. This hybrid does produce ground shoots and likes to vine so cuttings should become available from larger plants in the future.
