Nepenthes spathulata X boschiana is a hybrid between a highlander and an intermediate. This hybrid was made by Keving Wong. He made another hybrid using his male N. boschiana and crossed it onto N. maxima. I've seen other photos of this hybrid from larger plants than mine that are really nice. The peristome tends to be more maroon and flared than mine which is a younger specimen. There aren't very many hybrids with N. boschiana in them currently so that makes these crosses rather unique. I've been growing them outdoors and they have done fine for me. Not as fast growing as they should under excellent conditions, but they've proven to be very hardy and adaptable to my outdoor climate. Kevin offers these on occasion on Ebay or possibly through some of the Nepenthes forums. As this hybrid gets larger, I anticipate it being very showy and nice.
