Nepenthes maxima X aristolochioides is an Exotica Plants hybrid between two highlanders. This particular cross seems to have the best of both parents represented. Many of Exotica Plants hybrids using N. aristolochioides as the male plant are quite attractive and retain many of the N. aristolochioides characteristics. I purchased this plant as a rooted cutting from Exotica and it has done great for me outdoors. It receives full sun and grows fairly quick for a highlander. Many of the hybrids with N. aristolochioides vine quickly and produce many basals making cuttings available. This is a nice good looking hybrid that is easy to grow and needs little attention. A definite candidate to add to any collection.
