Nepenthes densiflora X truncata "king of clubs" is a Borneo Exotics hybrid between a highlander and an intermediate. Hybrids from BE are becoming available using two of their highly prized N. "black" truncatas. The female is the "Queen of Hearts" and the male is the "King of Clubs". These are seed grown hybrids that I'm growing directly outside. I've found that although the N. truncatas are highland they grow better for me as intermediates. BE highland N. truncatas stress during my winters and stop growing altogether. At this time, any hybrids that BE creates using their black N. truncatas are worth collecting and growing to see how much influence the N. truncatas become evident in the hybrids.
