Nepenthes densiflora X spectabilis is a Borneo Exotics hybrid between two highlanders. The first offerings of this hybrid were from seed and not tc. Now there are 6 random clones from the BE list. My plants are still juveniles and the coloration is nice. The peristome has the N. spectabilis striping combined with the maroon red from N. densiflora. I think this hybrid will be very nice when it reaches adulthood and could possibly grow in intermediate conditions because of the N. spectabilis in it. Outdoors as a highlander it has been a slow to moderate grower as it settles in. I've found that seed grown specimens tend to adapt to outdoor growing quicker than tc plants.
