Nepenthes aristolochioides X diatas is a hybrid created from a private grower using two highlanders. This is one of the first hybrids I've seen using N. diatas as a parent. The plant is still young at this time but the N. aristolochioides is very prevalent in the pitchering. All the EP and BE hybrids that have N. aristolochioides are very obvious so this species must be very dominant when creating hybrids. I got 2 of the seed grown plants and they are doing very well outdoors in typical highland conditions. Definitely grows quicker than N. diatas and appears like it will go into the vining stage as it matures from the N. aristolochioides parentage. Since these plants came from a private collector that made the hybrid, I have no idea how many of these plants are out there.
